Basic Policy in Brief

  1. To leave the European Union, retaining normal friendship and trading relations.
  2. To develop close links with the Commonwealth.
  3. To stop open border migration from the EU and to establish an immigration policy similar to that of Australia, based on national needs.
  4. To fight against EU inspired impositions, such as, in the West Midlands:
    1. HS2; this scheme will exceed £100bn, when the money is urgently needed elsewhere
    2. The Hartlebury incinerator: stop foreign interference in national waste management strategy
    3. The selling off of national infrastructure and institutions: The Post Office, railways etc.
    4. Renationalisation where the private sector has failed, eg the M6 Toll.
  5. Law and order: Cancel Police Crime Commissioners. Take power away from the European courts. Westminster should be unfettered by foreign legal impositions, such as votes for prisoners, sentencing, rights of appeal, etc.
  6. Health: the culture of waste in the NHS must be limited and savings rewarded by additional funding. A service for those who have contributed, so stopping medical tourism.
Whilst we have no problem with private hospitals and have no issue with people who wish to pay for their treatment WE DO NOT ACCEPT A MIXED PRIVATE/STATE FUNDED NHS.
  7. Overseas Aid: should go to worthy causes in countries showing that their aim is to help the poor, rather than fire rockets into space.
  8. Education: greater scrutiny of free schools, and foreign students, including EU citizens, to pay full fees.
